🚛 DOT Physicals – Keeping You Road-Ready

At Britt Mobile Medic, we provide Department of Transportation (DOT) physicals to ensure drivers meet the medical standards required for safe operation of commercial vehicles. Our certified exams are efficient, affordable, and designed to get you back on the road quickly.

What’s Included in a DOT Exam:

• Health History Review – discussion of medical conditions, medications, and prior surgeries.

• Physical Examination – vital signs, heart and lung assessment, neurological and musculoskeletal check, and overall fitness for duty.

• Vision Screening – measures distance vision, peripheral vision, and color recognition (must meet DOT standards).

• Hearing Screening – evaluation of hearing ability (often whisper test).

• Urinalysis – screens for underlying conditions such as diabetes, kidney disease, or other health issues (not a drug test).

  Certification:

• If you meet DOT health requirements, you’ll receive a medical examiner’s certificate (DOT card) valid for up to 2 years.

• If monitoring is required (for certain conditions like hypertension or diabetes), a shorter certification period may be issued.
